Arizona Asthma Coalition – The state coalition website has many asthma resources for parents, schools and clinicians.  A school nurse toolkit is now available.

Asthma Athletics  - Asthma Athletics is a non-profit corporation dedicated to the education and athletic training for asthmatics so they may enjoy a healthy and full life in spite of their disability. Teaching and instructing asthmatics of all ages in a variety of different athletic pursuits including swimming, soccer and other land-sports, Asthma Athletics strives to help all asthma sufferers better understand and live with their illness.

American Lung Association of Arizona – Information on Camp Not a Wheeze a camp to children with asthma as well as other community asthma education programs. 

Maricopa County Tobacco Control – Great resource information on stop smoking programs, danger of second hand smoke and prevention information.  Register for Free Quit Classes   To support people in stopping smoking a Quitters Blog has develop a site to share experiences and support people in the process of quitting. 

Community Treatment Clinics – Maricopa County Coalition Partners

Breathmobile – Since 2000, the Phoenix Children's Hospital Breathmobile, a self-contained mobile asthma clinic, has traveled to inner-city schools, providing asthma identification, teaching, treatment, and follow up. Services are free to all children needing care and services.

Phoenix Children Hospital Pulmonology Clinic - The Pediatric Pulmonologists at Phoenix Children's Hospital provide care for children with respiratory diseases and disorders. The asthma care team including pediatric Pulmonologists, certified pediatric nurse practitioners, specialized nurses and medical assistants, respiratory therapists, social workers and specialized nutritionists provide comprehensive care and follow-up for patients and their families.  Special emphasis is place on prevention and control, patient and family education, and self-management.

Mountain Park Health Care Center – Operates five primary and preventative care clinics which focus on patient needs not their ability to pay.  Clinics are located in South Phoenix, East Phoenix, Tempe, Maryvalle and Tolleson.  Care is never denied because of someone’s inability to pay.  Special educational programs are available people with asthma and their families. 

Clinica Adelante  - A primary and preventive health care services in rural and suburban Maricopa County, Arizona. Our health care professionals serve patients at five family health centers in Surprise, Wickenburg, Buckeye, Gila Bend, and Mesa, a women’s health center in Sun City West, a dental center in Buckeye, and a mobile medical clinic that serves outlying West Valley communities. Patients without insurance receive discounted services based in income.  Educational programs available for children with asthma and their families. 

Good Night Pediatrics - An innovative approach to nighttime medical care for children, because no child should have to go to an emergency room unless it's an emergency. The need for health care services often occurs after doctor's offices are closed and this clinic fills that need by providing after hour care.  Very experienced in working with children with asthma.  Accepts most insurance plans and has affordable rates for non-insured patients.

St Joseph Children Health Center – Clinic that focuses on providing care for all children including the poor underserved children.  Staff are well versed in Asthma care and treatment.

St Vincent DePaul’s Virginia G. Piper Medical & Dental Clinic – Provides medical and dental services to low-income, working families who are unable to afford insurance coverage. Current Coalition partners are volunteer physicians at this clinic.
