Triggers for Asthma


Any substance that aggravates nose and airways can be a trigger for asthma.

Some of the most common are:

  • Air pollutants
  • Occupational exposure to vapors, dust, gases or fumes
  • Odors or sprays
  • Airborne particles such as dust or talcum powder
  • Changes in weather conditions
  • Upper respiratory infections
  • Second Hand Smoke
